To make sure the following steps can start, please check on the compatible operating system first. For most USB 3.0 interface of USB drive, Windows XP+SP3, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Linux, Mac, can all be appliable.
1. Run a fingerprint management application on your computer:
A. Insert it to an available USB port on your computer and device will be recognized automatically.
B. Click “CD Drive(G)” in the window of “My computer”
C. Double click the app icon “Finger Tool_ZX.exe” to run the application.
Note： Some security software may misunderstand and forbid the operation, please set to allow the operation.
2. Registration for Administrators
Only when the registration of administrator’s account is complete, you as an administrator can create accounts and enroll fingerprints for general users.

Note: We suggest you slightly change the angle of your finger in the course of fingerprint recording. Repeat the step for 6 times until your fingerprint scan is completed.
3. Start to use the Fingerprint Flash Drive
A. Insert it to an available USB port on your computer and the device will be recognized automatically.
B. Make your finger that has been enrolled fingerprint fully contact the fingerprint sensor. You will see the blue light flashing. After the fingerprint is authenticated, you can see the secure partition and access the data stored in this partition. As shown below.
4. Partition of the Fingerprint Flash Drive
A. Run the application “Fingertool_ZX”, and then click “PARTITION” after passing Administrator authentication.
B. Click “YES”.
C. Scroll progress bar with mouse to adjust the capacity of the public partition and the secure partition, click “YES” to confirm the adjustment. Please re-plug the flash drive after finishing the partition.
5. Managing Administrator and User’s Accounts
Picture below shows how to add, change, delete, and edit the accounts.
6. Password reset
A. Click “password Authentication”on the window of the fingerprint authentication.
B. Click ”Forget Password”on the window of the password authentication.
C. Enter a new password.
D. Click “Yes”and apply the administrator’s fingerprint to complete the reset.
